Space is designed to prevent people from doing work here: 1. Wifi limited to 90 minutes per day. 2. Most tables are very small and/or shin-height (i.e. you have to lean over to use a laptop). 3. The large community tables (waist-height) have no outlets. My friend and I just found a space that would work, and then 10 minutes later, they told us that half of the cafe space was going to be closed for a private event, which isn't mentioned on the website. No cash payment for food/drink, lest poor people try to eat here.

We love their drip coffee and latte, and especially their pastry! We absolute love their almond coffee cake and strawberry jam almond bar! And very good atmosphere!

This is one of my favorite pastry shops in the area! Everything I’ve tried has been fresh and delicious, and the pastries are consistently excellent. They have a great variety, so there’s always something new to try. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and I love that I can usually find a seat in the cafΓ© to enjoy my coffee and get some work done. It’s such a comfortable, relaxing space to spend a couple of hours. If you’re looking for amazing pastries and a great cafΓ© atmosphere, I highly recommend stopping by!

Very pretty aesthetic. Super slow. One person making drinks for 40 people. Took 20 min to get a cappuccino. Brown sugar mocha syrup very good. Pastries not impressive for the reviews. Banana bread very dense not moist. Double chocolate croissant cooked perfectly with lots of flaky layers but the stripes on the outside are really sweet. Both of us thought it was too sweet. Biggest issue is no mugs or glasses just take out cups. I prefer not to have microplastics in my hot drinks.

Love this place for a casual hangout or to study! The croissants are some of the best I've had in my life including those in France. My favorites are the chocolates and the ham and cheese. The kougn amann is also AMAZING! MUST TRY! I like their espresso shots as well :) definite must-try in Chicago.
